I'm Helen Osborne, & The Servants Heart is a compassionate care package designed to offer peace of mind, - for families who have elderly parent/s that need an extra hand, for those finding it difficult managing the workload of caring for a home & garden & everything else that comes with it. And also those living alone who would just love a bit of company & an extra hand.

I come into the home offering company, & potter around helping out with all the tasks that may be difficult or overwhelming. I'm here to lend a gentle hand, to bring more ease, organisation & most often, relaxation, into your life. Whether it be doing general chores, household organisation, laundry duties, cooking, garden work & other chores, I work on creating a space that is tailored to your individual needs, both practically and for your own enjoyment & wellbeing. Or perhaps a bit of fun & creativity is on the cards, - doing arts & crafts, - or playing board games while singing along to some old classics? At The Servants Heart anything goes!

​​The idea for The Servants Heart developed after 20 years of working alongside clients in their homes. Starting as an eco-cleaning business & developing into de-cluttering, after many clients commented on how I was a natural for organising spaces, I was then asked if I could manage other household jobs, along with gardening. Before long I was performing a plethora of chores & found that I enjoyed the diversity of transforming spaces.

 

I had many elderly clients & found I enjoyed spending time with them, not just performing household and garden chores, but I recognised a need for more personal engagement, such as reading the paper to them & looking through photo albums, - bringing memories back to life, & talking about times gone by. There was such a richness in this level of engagement, as my clients enlivened & were visibly encouraged by the personal interaction, that it dawned on me I had a heart, not only for transforming spaces, but also for serving others.
